The latest national honours list, announced ahead of Independence Day, reveals that the state’s police personnel have collectively bagged an impressive 95 awards. This tally includes 17 Gallantry Medals, six President’s Medals for Distinguished Service (PSM), and 72 Medals for Meritorious Service (MSM).
